Montego Bay, Jamaica

Secrets St. James & Wild Orchid

Plan this stay

The neighboring Secrets St. James and Wild Orchid properties in Montego Bay have suspended normal operations. Reopening is expected in 2027; confirm the final resort configuration and arrival date.

Check reopening before planning

The neighboring Secrets St. James and Secrets Wild Orchid properties in Montego Bay have suspended normal operations following Hurricane Melissa. Hyatt's current notice and official Jamaica reporting point to reopening in 2027. Confirm the operating date for your stay rather than relying on an earlier quarter estimate.

Official reporting describes plans to combine the neighboring properties during rebuilding. Confirm the final resort name, configuration, suite, dining and access arrangements before accepting a quote; the former two-resort setup should not be assumed for a future stay. Existing photographs describe the published properties, not completed reopening. For an affected reservation, contact your booking provider.

Questions to shape your stay

  • Wedding, honeymoon, or both?

Choose the occasion first so the hotel is judged against the trip you are actually taking.

  • Room, pace, and privacy

Ask an advisor to confirm which room type, dates, and rhythm fit the two of you.

  • The details around arrival

Transfers, dining, guest plans, and special arrangements belong in the plan—not in a last-minute checklist.
