A thoughtful start

Plan a destination proposal without losing the surprise.

You can begin with an idea. These are the details that help turn it into a trip.

Start with the person, not the photograph

Think about what your partner would enjoy: a private view, a favorite kind of meal, a walk, or a moment with loved ones nearby. A dramatic public setting is not the right fit for everyone. Choose a destination you would both enjoy even without the proposal, so the rest of the trip feels natural and unhurried.

Keep the communication discreet

Use an email or phone number your partner does not share and tell each provider how to contact you. Agree on who will coordinate photography, flowers, or a private dinner and exactly when they will arrive. If a location needs permission or a reservation, have the local provider confirm that before building your plan around it.

Have a second version you would still love

Weather, travel delays, and busy viewpoints can change the moment. Choose an alternative location and allow flexibility in the day's timing. Avoid making the proposal depend on an immediate connection after a long journey. Once the details are confirmed, keep enough of the trip unscheduled to enjoy what comes next together.

In their own words

The people behind
the memories.

A traveler shares their experience of planning a trip with a LOVU-listed advisor.

Csilla was a PRO when it came to planning, executing, customizing, and problem-solving our Greek Island adventure. She worked hard to ensure our every question was answered or need was met and we all had an unforgettable experience playing pickleball and enjoying beautiful Athens, Santorini, and Crete. She has a positive attitude and a delightful personality - I highly recommend her services.

Before you go

Your proposal questions, answered.

How can we keep proposal planning discreet?

Give your advisor and local providers a private contact method, and state when and how they may contact you. Ask them to confirm how reservation messages and special-arrangement notes will be handled.

Can an advisor arrange a photographer or private dinner?

Ask the advisor which arrangements they can coordinate and which need a hotel or local provider. Confirm availability, timing, price, and the person responsible for each part before relying on it.

What if the weather changes?

Plan a second setting you would genuinely enjoy and agree with providers how a change will be handled. A flexible time window is often more useful than a plan that depends on one exact outdoor moment.

Does a proposal need an elaborate package?

No. A simple moment in a place that feels right can be enough. Start with your partner's preferences and add only the arrangements that make the experience more personal.

It starts with what you have in mind.

Share the occasion, a place you love, or simply the way you want the trip to feel. We’ll take it from there, together.
